back in utah! i'll be honest and say that i didn't think i was gonna be back here for awhile. but alas, here i am tra la laing through the streets of downtown slc on my bike and things could only get better if my lungs were as top notch as they used to be .. they are a work in progress!

success!

yesterday was a successful day by anyone's standards. it started with not finding a bank to cash my checks at with no i.d. and moved gracefully to the gas station where i payed for my gas with quarters.  i had a good time.  next step was was wal-mart for some beach treats ... you know it, i payed in pennies (: haha then the beach! any day that includes the beach is successful i don't care what. usually it's just me and tors (: but today mimi joined us down at table rock, this girl is fly. Tory's mom treated us for dinner with some spectacular eggplant, i've never had it before but it was seriously delicious. and about that meteor shower, twaas amazing.

i lost my wallet! freak! what am i supposed to do! 

1. say a prayer

2. cancel my cards i.e. debit card and gap card

3. kiss my 40 dollars goodbye

4. get a temporary i.d.

5. shmooze some bank teller into cashing my checks from work without my i.d. so that i can drive back to utah in a week

6. count all my change and use it for gas for the next couple of days

7. enjoy my day off tomorrow and watch the meteor shower at salt creek

how could this possibly be the absolute best and worst movie ever made!!? welp idk but it is. the love story and the acting sent me bursting into laughter about every 5 minutes but the soundtrack!!! o.m.g. and the dancing!! mega o.m.g. it's truly pathetic but that is the only way i can really explain my excitement. if anything just see it and then join a hip hop class because that is most definitely on my list of things to do. oh and do ab exercises till my brains fall out.

i still haven't fixed my car. i love my life. the end.

Things are running smoothly here, I have a sweet little room in a sweet little house with sweet little roommates. The fella of the house is Ken Virgin, have you ever seen the movie Up? .. this is what he looks like but with a permigrin, I like it.

They are out of town right now so it's up to me to hold down the fort, and I am don't you worry about that. There is one problem though .. I'm scared of the dark .. so I come home and get in bed, no time to brush my hair (sorry mom, biggest bird's nest you ever saw on top of my head in the morning) I have to curl in a ball under the covers. What am I scared of!? I have no idea, just that I get creeped out being in this house all by my lonesome .. in the dark and the only escape I have is my unusual ability to sleep harder and heavier than a hippo out of water.

back again, back again

so here i am, back in sunny california (:
i have a nice little babysitting job, just for a few weeks though, this lady just had a baby so i'm helping out with her other four children. she's real nice and we could fit our whole pasco house inside of her dining room/entry way. try not to be too jealous, because there's nothing worse than someone who is totally sweet and nice and skinny and a mother of 5 suuuper cute kids one of which was only born a week ago, nothing.
that's that and i have a couple interviews next week and possibly an almost free place to live which i would be more than ecstatic about.
i also know the rules about not working all the time so kelsey (my super sweet friend who is letting me stay with her while she's here on break) have been going to the beach .. a lot and i love it here. the end.

This is my new friend Jordan. A very intelligent lady was selling her girl scout cookies right outside the festival and she was all out of samoas so we decided to settle for tagalongs which are bueno as well.

Anywho all is well on the homefront, i'm just trying to get everything ready so i can move to california in a week, there is so much to do and i'm starting to get a little nervous but i know i'll be happy in the end.

I've succumbed to the blogging craze! Hopefully it's a healthy addiction and i don't talk about it in my sleep. I'm well aware that my mother (hi mom!) and maybe some of my sisters are going to be my only readers but I'm alright with that because they are the ones that get annoyed for not calling, claiming that i don't love them anymore and all that jazz.
